Human Fleshes of Suicide Bomber at Indonesian Police Station

CIREBON, KOMPAS.com - Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant Herukoco, the chief of Cirebon regional police, is one of victims of bomb blast in a mosque located around the compound of police station here, West Java.

As leaving the police station, Cirebon Mayor Subardi declined to give details to reporters on how serious the wounds the chief has. "The chief can still stand on his feet and communicate," said Subardi.

Blocked with police lines, the police station is being closed to public or even to journalists who can only see the scene from the gate of station. "I saw police ambulances went back and forth from the compound," said Kompas' journalist, Rini Kustiasih.

The bomb blasted during Friday prayer held at a mosque located inside the compound at 12.30. Seventeen persons suffering wounds of bomb blast were rushed to local Gunung Jati, Pertamina and Pelabuhan hospitals.

Human fleshes belonging to the sole suicide bomber were seen around the scene. The bomber suspected of hiding a homemade bomb inside his cloth died instantly after committing his action.
