The Explosion in Indonesia Turns out to be Suicide Blast

CIREBON, KOMPAS.com - The homemade bomb exploding at a police station in Cirebon, West Java, when local Muslims as well as police officers joined Friday prayer turned out to be the action of a suicide bomber.

The sole bomber died instantly when executing his action while joining a prayer in the mosque located around the station.The victims were already rushed to a nearby Pelabuhan Hospital.

The explosion could be heard 500 meters from the scene closed by police lines. Kompas' journalist, Rini Kustiasih, confirmed that one of victims is the chief of local police.
