Possibility of Luna-Ariel Being Charged 2-Year Prison

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Vocalist Nazriel Irham a.k.a. Ariel and his lover, Luna Maya, can be charged with 2.8-year prison if they are proven to be the couple having sexual intercourse in scenes of a video widely exposed online recently.

"Based on text of Criminal Code paragraph 282 on morality, 2.8-year prison with at least Rp5,000 fine can be charged for the violation of it but the fine can be Rp100 million if it deals with information and electronic transaction (ITE) bill," said Farhat Abbas, chairman of Hajar non-profit organization, contacted by Kompas.com in Jakarta, Tuesday.

Farhat Abbas filed Luna and Ariel for being suspects on the recorded hot scenes at Jakarta Regional Police on Monday. In the file, Luna-Ariel are considered of violating text of Criminal Code paragraph 286 and ITE bill of 11/2008 if proven of being the couple on the video.

According to Farhat, the couple on the video can be criminally charged. "They can be arrested since they plotted it eventhough they argue that it was only a collection."
